Monday 28 June 2010 - A FANTASTIC DOUBLE-BILL on the future of ST PETERSBURG to close this year's MAPS series on Russia's architecture.

On Monday 28 June at 6.45pm architect and architectural historian Anton Glikin, editor of 'The Classical City', opens the evening with a
talk entitled "St. Petersburg's Future: Historicism, Anti-Historicism,
Pseudo-Historicism or Preservation?"

17th February, 19.30.The struggle to preserve Rusia’s historic buildings is unequal and dangerous, fought between concerned citizens and big business against a backdrop of poverty and corruption. MAPS founder and friend of Sarkisyan, Clementine Cecil, tells the inspiring stories of those who battle to preserve Russia’s heritage. There will be a chance to commemorate David’s memory at a drink before/afterwards.
