MAPS is soon launching a joint project with website 'The Architecture of Russia' - this will be a register of those Moscow buildings under threat of destruction through neglect or demolition. There is a lack of official information about the condition of the city's historic buildings or indeed an exact record of the number of them, and this project will be the first open source of information about those buildings which most need the attention of the public, specialists and the media.

Worrying news reaches MAPS concerning one of Moscow’s most beautiful historic buildings – the Stroganov Baroque Church of the Resurrection of 1687 in the Kadashevskaya Sloboda.
